Hi Nefyn,

Don't look into the detail of flies for a certain river. Whereas there are some specific flies for specific rivers this is very much down to tradition - if someone catches on fly 'X' then everyone uses fly 'X'. Sea trout flies that are tried and trusted on all rivers will serve you well on the Glaslyn I'm sure. Just try and get a few different sizes, profiles and weights - that will serve you well.
