These cone heads have made fishing spate rivers so much more effective,getting the fly down in heads of pools,white water has made a difference to me at least

The weight of the cone really doesn't have the effect of getting the fly down when used on a plastic tube. What it actually does is balance the tube out when a double or treble is inserted up the rear end and makes it swim in plane and not 'arse down'
