Default Ebay shop bad service

Avoid The ******* (username ******).

I have just received a reel from the above seller that was sold as a 8/9 weight. I contacted the seller before purchasing to check it was definitely a 8/9 as I didn't think that reel was available in that size. I was told that it was and the manufacturer had said it was. The reel turned up today (late I might add) and clearly stated on the box AND the reel seat that it was a 6-8. The reel is smaller than my 6/7 reels and is no way a 8/9. It probably wouldn't take a 9 weight line even with no backing.

I asked for a refund or swap for a bigger size (next one up is a 9-11) but was told I would have to pay £30 as there was a difference in price between the sizes. I was also refused a refund.

Ebay resolution case opened.
