    Most of my rivers have very little water at the moment and some slimey green. Sunday therefore was a no no for me in terms of salmon fishing. I elected instead to refill some of the vacant ranks in my Pot Belly box.












    The Dressing(s)

    Tubes: 1/2" Tungsten
    Thread: Black
    Rear Hackle: Dyed (red and orange) hen saddle hackle
    Feelers: Dyed boar bristles
    Body: Fluorescent dyed (red and orange) extra fine Straggle Ice
    Rib: Fine gold wire
    Front Hackle: Black dyed hen grizzle saddle hackle
    Wing: Fluorescent dyed (red and orange) bucktail overlaid with 2 doubled strands of mother of pearl flash
    Cheeks: Jungle cock

    very nice gravy what size are these... will salmon take these in low water?|\
    theres no room at the inn... our country is full

      They are tied up on 1/2" long tungsten tubes. In low water and low flow they will tend to catch up on the bottom. With this in mind if you have a mind to try them then I would knock some up in copper and some in plastic. It really all depends on your own river. I would say however that they work for me pretty much everywhere I have ever fished and I always keep them as a banker
