went 80 miles to Sportfish at Winforton yesterday to check out the korker guides with the Boa laceup system, liked what I saw and bought them (idiot).
They were asking in the region of £30.00 for each pair of extra soles that I wanted, and that was to order only. So declined those.
Came hope and went-a-hunting.
Found same boots with 2 pairs of soles, one pair different to what I recieved at Sportfish, wait for it, after checking the exchange rate they were £96.22, and that included international postage from the USA, so I just had to buy them as well.
Now I have two pairs plus my old Simms guides, that have lasted about 9-10yrs.
Absolute tackle tart of the first order :> :> :> :> :> :>

Interesting boot - what is an aqua stealth sole when it is at home?
Tensioner is a clever idea.

Tensioner is a clever idea.
Soft-ish compound rubber sole, grips onto most surfaces, been on the simms guide boots for years. Mine are still going, just, after about 8/10 years.

Presume from the name you aqre less likely to knock rocks with your feet and able to move with less spooking of trout?

One of several here in the PNW that does a heck of a volume of business shipping 'stuff' to the UK. Credit cards work 'everywhere.'~:.

Started using korkers this season, very happy with them thus far. I do start to question how often I will actually change the soles though, but always nice to have the option I guess. Having said that, the section that nearly always fails on wading boots are the felt soles, as such, having that section which is easily replaceable should extend the longevity.

Next it'll be Nikons and Winston Rods.
They all see the light in the end! :>

Greetings folks I met on the old board and hello to all !
I got my Korkers Guide in the States on a trip and really rate them. Being cack handed from an old motorbike injury, I struggle with laces, so they Boa tensioners work a treat. I've got the Aquastealth soles and they seem fine. Mind you, I too have a Winston, so maybe I spend too much on gear !
