Evening gents, i 'll be down on the teifi in july and hopefully snare my first sewin on the fly at night . Question being which type of fly , snake or tube, would be the fly of choice ?

Either. Or neither!
Personally I prefer tubes, much easier to tie and if you damage the hook it doesn't destroy the fly. But each to his own. A small waddington can do the business as well...

I would be happy with a mix of tubes and singles 6s up to 10s should be enough to get you into fish , as has been said Steff is the man to help you more
