  • Tyneside Angling Syndicate advice?

A very good friend of mine after straying to the dark side (gardening!) is now getting back into fishing - He has recently joined TAS (Tyneside Angling Syndicate) - Could anyone suggest which of their waters best suits the fly for Salmon? and which say is the best spinning water, and perhaps which beats are the most productive or the least fished, he is not a fan of combat fishing!

He is a somewhat 'unenthusiastic' angler, at times, and since I am god parent to his children his endevours need to be encouraged or my god children will end up as boilie-bashers! Please pm me if you don't want all the secrets given away. :>

    Thanks,

    TT.

    Hello TT
I know they have water on the Till, I think it's at Doddington which is not too far away from Redscar, the Till takes a good run of grillse and also has a respectable back end run of salmon and is worth a try. I think they still have water on the whiteadder but it can only be fished with spinner if the water is 2ft above summer low.

    Cheers
    Dave
