Initial batch were attached to Christ's Mass Prezzies, kind of a 'signature mark' if you will. Most turned out rather well as these hooks are HUGE compared to what I'd normally use.
But with a 2-3/0 sized hook and a reasonably full tie, (no weight for the moment) what sized two hander rod would it take to cast/reasonably fish something that large?
I know, I know .... a bit of an odd question (I use two-handers from a 3wt up to 9's; do have 10wt's but usually just too heavy for casting comfort), but is there a rod weight range you folks prefer for this large a fly?
