  • Bala fishing show, this weekend.

Should be a nice day out, certainly worth visiting if you're in the area or live nearby. I may well be tying there, not that that's much of an incentive!! :>

      Bore da Dai,

Just had a client over for some guiding, he had some lovely snake flies tied by someone named Dai Jones, any idea who he is? He had boxes full from Cullster and a few of your flies, he was more than well armed that is for sure!!! :> Nice tying Dai, very neat.

Spoke to the organiser and they had some 11 people tying already so am not going to be going now Dai, will sit this one out and go fishing instead!!! :>

I will, however, by doing the BFFI this year, which is a first for me and should be a lot of fun.

Happy tying Dai, I'm sure it will be fun.

      Steff.

Steff, All i can say is if he had Cullsters flies and mine, the fish don't have a chance :>|\

Shame you are not going, will have to wait again for my hooks:>

Have some good fishing, i will be out for a few hours myself tonight.

          No worries Dai, tight-tying! :>

I'll be going to the Towy next week no doubt, so will let you know when and I'll try and catch up with you for a chat etc.

Let me know how the show goes, and give my best to Rhys.

          Steff.

p.s. with the collection of flies he had, bailiffs should be asking questions!!

Nice on Dai, thanks for the update, good to read.

Heard it all went well, think the weather held too, which was a result.

As for the Dee; definitely. There some nice water for £5 a day just below Bala, good sport and good value.

We should try and arrange a winter meet this year for the forum.

              TT.

We have done this in the past and it was a great laugh. Last time was in S.Wales, which may have restircted the uptake somewhat. Well up for the Dee and should be easy enough to organise to be fair. Just need to set a date really and take it from there.

Perhaps worth getting a head count first and take it from there?

                  TT.
