Anyone making an appearance at the spring fly-fair this weekend? Am hoping to be there for both days, but nothing certain as yet, sadly.

Yes Steff,
Fished the upper Teifi today for a few hours.
Low and very clear, nothing happening, a few flies came off in the afternoon and that was it.
Still very early days though

Bet it was nice to be out though Bill, the weather was superb. Shame about the fishing, but as you rightly said it is very early, and it still very cold - I'm sure the weather over the past few weeks will give it an even slower start. Shame there's not more grayling to shake the stick at!!
The Fly-Fair was 'ok'. To be honest it's a bloody long way, and quite small - you really don't need 2 days there that is for sure. It was nice to see some familiar faces, but the stalls seemed to be just pushing old stock, and even these were watered down by some extremely random non fishing stands.
Nice to have a walk around though and to get the mind back on the fishing.
