  • Cracked cork handle

The cork handle on my loomis has cracked and needs to be rapired before next season. Does anybody know if a repair can be done at home or does it need to go away on holiday. I've heard of anglers using wine corks and superglue to repair cracked handles.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Many Thanks

Not a clue sorry Aled. Cap should be your man on this type of advice though, especially with his rod building skills. Would be interested in reading his reply too as I was sticking a rather large fly into the handle of one of my rods not long back and pulled out a chunk of cork - not good. ~#

Had some advice from silverinvicta, after a careful look crack not as big as i thought, some wood glue has done the job nicely. |\
