high water fishing

With all this high water i would like to give the fly a serious go in the day.Would appreciate any advice from experieced guys in this matter.As much as i enjoy spinning and worming,fly fishing is what i enjoy most. Never caught a sewin on a fly in the day,but would love to do so.

OK it is possible, get a copy of Moc Moragn & G Harris book they describe how far better than i can.

Will def give it a read. Looks like these rain showers are going to continue for a few days yet. Do you generally fish big flies or smaller sizes?

Depends, on a very coloured river big silver tube or waddi on a clear water as small as zixe 12 double. BIggest problem is often controlling the fly.
