Can anyone help me identify the supplier of "Fire Fly Lazer Lights". I know they sell them by the packet in Sportfish but i need to purchase them in bulk. The old telephone number for Avro Products is now a hospital in Kimmel Bay, Rhyl Clwyd.

Any help would be much appreciated, Kind Regards

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

I believe that Lyttles on Dunchurch are the UK distributors:

Worth a try.

Any idea if it's sold in the US?

I'm not sure to be honest Fred, but this is an US based company which I do use: http://www.readysetglo.com/ and I find their powders to be great - just mix it with epoxy etc. and place it on the heads of flies. I have also painted some on the silicone attachment section of tubes etc. and that can work well.

Amazing 'stuff' on that web site. The 'suggested uses' section really has some darned interesting possible application suggestions.

Definitely! The uses are endless. Tuniwes, on the other forum, painted the core of snake-flies - underneath the mylar - so that it would give a somber glow, worked really well. A word of caution though, the powder is very fine and gets everywhere! so unless you would like your fly-tying shed etc. illuminated, use some caution when handling the bag! :>
