Once again I will enjoy company at "my" bit of the Kennet near Hungerford .
Details are in the previous Kennet carrier thread.
Before I go any further this is not done for any commercial gain but for enjoyment ,meeting new and old friends a bit of fishing ,a lot of gossip ,BBQd steak sandwiches for lunch ,the fishing can be good or hard ,weather is british .
Money wise £35 ,30of which go's to the beat owner and the rest toward the steak ,bread, charcoal, sauces ect .
If you like wine bring some !
Cash on the day is the only way to go cheques sit in my wallet until I next fall in ,and like rrw I have no truck with pay.pal .
The day normaly kicks of at 9 and finishes toward dusk ,there is more water than you can fish well in a day .
Drys work well early season ,followed by small leaded bugs and nymphs.
Odd pike have been taken on big lures from the deeper holes !

Should you wish to partake in the jollitys PM and we will take care of you space permitting !
Some days are filling fast due to the first come first served policy of letting the old lags know first !

Dates for this winters grayling at Hungerford are
october 26
november 9th +30th
december14th +28th
january 11 +25
possible NYD one to be confirmed !

Good fun days ,begginers welcome ,suitable tackle can be loaned .

I have only heard good reports from these days. Certainly worth a think, especially when winter closes the door on our pursuit of silver.
