A couple of useful software programmes that will make re-sizing your images for use on the website a lot easier.
Firstly, this is what I use for resizing my images:

It's a fantastic little programme, and best of all it's free!
I usually rename it to photoresize800.exe that gives a good outlay for forum use.
Further to that, I upload to photobucket, which is an image hosting site:
http://photobucket.com/
Again, a really easy site to use, and and it's free.
Any issues just give me a shout.
