Hi everyone im new to this forum. Does anyone know anything about the above rod. I got it of eBay as an impulse buy and want to use it on the river for switch casting, i have asked a few of the big tackle shops for help finding a suitable line and i have been told everything from "use a dt #6" too "use a #8 airflow forty plus" one shop told me it was a dappling rod.

I have heard many opinions and speculation but does anyone actually know about this specific rod

I had two of these rods and for 12 years they were my "got to" rods for sea trout fishing on the Tywi. Lines, WF 8 worked well from floater to wetc cell 2, the only thing is when fishing a sinking line in a deep pull retrieve to the top before loading the rod, it makes casting easier.
